CUCM MLPP Authorization Window Missing

Greetings everyone,

Context:

Publisher with release 11.5.1000; End users configured; Test cases conducted with Cisco IP 8845

I have three Cisco 8845. Two without any users associated, and a third one with EM enabled and a user logged in.

Devices configured with a maximum number of calls equal to1;

User is configured with MLPP authorization pin and authorization level; User is associated with device profile; Device profile configured with MLPP domain, MLPP indication on, MLPP preemption Forceful;

All phones with and without users are being successful in selecting PrecLevel softkey and choosing any level to make a call; Precedence calls hierarchy and preemption work correctly;

Enterprise MLPP domain is defined;

PROBLEM:

None of the devices prompts an MLPP authorization window asking for credentials after choosing a level. No MLPP authentication/authorization is performed. Users are overtaking their MLPP authorization level by using any level.

OBJECTIVE:

Only devices with associated MLPP enabled users are able to make MLPP calls, while being submitted to the MLPP authorization check window before making a call, preferably without Feature access codes.

TROUBLESHOOTING:

I reviewed every configuration; Checked for service parameters to enforce this check. MLPP is working, it just isn't validating users' MLPP authorization level.

Thank you for your support!

Hello,

Go to Device-->Device Settings-->SIP profile

Select the SIP Profile that you have configured and check the box MLPP User Authorization.

Hope this helps!!

Hello @andreas33693
Thanks for the suggestion. So simple, yet it must have slipped through.

Best regards.
