CWMS Resizing from 250 to 800

Hello,

We are planning to resize on-prem CWMS system from 250 to 800 users.
Current CWMS version is 2.7.1.2054.B-AE.It is not based version.

My action plan is as below :

1.VMWare backup of the current system will be taken.
2.New DNS records created for new Admin Machine (different from old machine)  & specify IP address for new CWMSAdmin machine
Old :
- admin@a.com ; IP: 10.10.10.11
New :
- adminnew@a.com; IP : 10.10.10.12

3. I don't have exact version, (2.7.1.2054.B-AE), cisco doesn't publish this version by installation file on Cisco.com., CMWS Admin installation started with 2.7MR2,
4. To proceed the standard installation, selected enlarge - other options(other options are not selected) are not selected.
5. VCENTER information will be entered when it comes.
6. ...

Is it possible to enlarge the CWMS system by using 2.7MR2 which it is not current CWMS software version,
What is your advice,

Expansion is a similar process as Major upgrade
Requires the OVA file you used to deploy your current system.
OVA needs to be obtained from the Product Upgrade Tool (PUT)
OVA will be the base version as there are no OVA files for Maintenance Releases or Hotfix versions
During the system expansion, the system will automatically update to the version of the original system without intervention from you. You use the original OVA you installed with initially.
Prepare/backup data form existing system, create required VMs for new/expanded system (at a minimum, you should have the admin VM installed) in vCenter, then attach the hard disk 4 of the existing system, and finish Deployment for expand, add HA if needed.



For Expansion
SSL Certificate may need to be updated
Update firewall for new servers
Confirm DNS resolves all new hostnames and IP addresses correctly
CUCM configuration made need to be updated if Media Nodes are added or changed
Re-host MDC license if necessary
Update ACL for NFS Storage Server to include new VM IP addresses
