Deploy config.xml

Hi,

CUCM 10.5.2

Jabber 10.6.4

I have the following problem , I know it is really easy for you but I can’t understand this at the moment   :

I have make a change in the Config file :

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

-<config version="1.0"> -<Policies> <ServiceDiscoveryExcludedServices>WEBEX</ServiceDiscoveryExcludedServices> <ServicesDomainSsoEmailPrompt>OFF</ServicesDomainSsoEmailPrompt>

</Policies>

</config>

And save it in jabber-config.xml

Now my question :

How can I deploy this changes to other clients ?

I am trying to upgrade (TFTP)  in cucm “Software Upgrade / Install/Upgrade “ but I get this Massage “ jabber-config.xml Name does not match any filter pattern”.

Thanks for our support

Bestregards

Hi Homayoun,

Login to OS admin page of CUCM -- Software upgrades -- TFTP file Management -- Click on upload file -- Browser to the jabber-config.xml file -- leave the directory Blank and upload it. TFTP restart will may be required.

you can also refer:

Hi Nagajothi,

thanks it works fine.

A question : shall i save and download only the change of Jabber-config.xml or  whole file ?

Thanks

Homayoun

If you trying to download the file from TFTP there is no option to do it from CUCM OS admin page. May be you can type the below in your browser which has reachability CUCM and that will provide you copy of the jabber config file present in your TFTP

http://Ipaddress(or)hostnameofTFTPserver :6970/jabber-config.xml

Regards

Hi,

Sorry again but i have changed an option and download this as jabber-config.xml.

And now i get a copy of jabber.file from http://Ipaddress(or)hostnameofTFTPserver :6970/jabber-config.xml (how you wrote).

But I can’t see any changes in the file  , where is my mistake?

Thanks a lot

Homayoun

Hi,

I don’t know why but it works now.

I did upload  again the .xml file to both TFTP-Server and did restart the services,  now it works fine .

Thanks for your support
