Is it possible to import contacts (using Outlook specifically, but really this applies to any source) into Jabber with the contacts phone number? I can import contacts without issue but the phone numbers will not come over to Jabber. Also, these contacts are external, or personal contacts, the contacts are not part of our internal system.
I have tested a simple export of Outlook contacts by simply exporting as a CSV and choosing the default maps (items to export). I can then import this CSV into Jabber without issue, all contacts are added, however the phone numbers are not included, only names, email, company. I have tried renaming the headings in the CSV file for the phone numbers to match what Jabber lists (ie Outlook exports phone # as Business Phone, Jabber has work phone, tried renaming business to work with no luck).
Surely there has to be a way to do this? I can add Jabber contacts 1 by 1 with phone number without issue.
