Hi networkers
Our new corporate policies instruct users to log in to Jabber whenever they log in to their Windows PCs. However some employees intentionally disconnect from Jabber. Some other employees completely shut down Jabber.
Do you know how to configure Cisco Jabber, or the Presence server, in a way that users won't be able to disconnect from, or close, Jabber manually?
Jabber for Windows 10.5.6
CUCM version 8.6
Presence server 8.6

No changes, you'd need to submit a PER with the business case so it can be evaluated for a future release.

Neither Jabber nor IM&P have a way to prevent a user from disconnecting/logout from Jabber.
You probably want to try and see if there's some way to handle this at OS level.

Hi Jaime
We've upgraded our corporate UC platform to 11.5. Is your answer still valid for this version too, or is there maybe a new feature that could perfom that?
