Im running call manager 11.5, Jabber version 12.7 in phone only mode and integrated with Microsoft O365, and when the client is installed and opened, I get an error message
"Microsoft Office integration error. Restart any open office application."
Can anyone shed any light on why this would be happening?

We have the same problem, looks like a cosmetic problem.
BUG ID CSCvr98205

I know this is an old thread but I will add my 2 cents.
This error is caused by Click2X, and in my case it was because we have Skype installed and there was a constant battle between Skype and Jabber for the microsoft hook.
Our fix for this issue was to use Orca to modify the installer package to Disable Click2x. Hope this helps someone.

Excellent hint, Louie.
I can confirm that disabling click2x solved the problem in my case where a conflict between J4W and Estos ProCall caused the error message.
To do so, I manually reinstalled the Jabber client through CMD, disabling click2x in the process:
- placed the install file CiscoJabberSetup.msi in the path c:\Temp
- opend a CMD window and entered
> cd c:\Temp
> msiexec.exe /i CiscoJabberSetup.msi /quiet CLEAR=1 CLICK2X=DISABLE
(one could also use 'msiexec.exe /i CiscoJabberSetup.msi CLICK2X=DISABLE', since /quiet and CLEAR=1 are optional)
Hope this helps.

This worked for me:
Removed the Jabber cache from the paths below:
**C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Cisco\Unified Communications : Delete "Jabber" folder
**C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Cisco\Unified Communications : Delete "Jabber" folder
**C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Cisco\Unified Communications\Jabber\CSF\Logs
Uninstalled Jabber\Restarted PC\Installed Jabber
