Jabber 9.1.2 crashes for common phone users

We're seeing users that only use Common phones along with the Jabber client are dealing with multiple crashes a day. 

Is there any recommendation about how to configure these users so we can try and prevent the crashes?

I stumbled across that solution on my own about a day after I posted the problem.  

Glad that they already have it listed as being fixed in a future release.
