Hello,
we have installed Jabber 9.2 by some customers with the Lotus Notes calendar integration.
By the most clients is necessary to type the LN password every time that the user login into Jabber.
By some users is not necessary to type the password and the calendar integration seems to works proprertly. We haven't understood why it is so.
How is ti possible? How can I configure Jabber to save the Lotus password?
I really appreciate any help!

Hello,
you can configure this in the Lotus Notes Security Options. There is a checkbox “Don’t prompt for a password from other Notes-based programs (reduces security)”. If you check this checkbox and open LN before Cisco Jabber than you don't have to type the LN password.
Best regards,
Thomas

We have just started rolling out Jabber, and have this issue as well, the suggestion works BUT in case you start Jabber first before the LN client is started you will see a LN promptasking for the LN password - Is there anyway to come around this ?
