dials from jabber OK
can't dial from outlook 2007
when click on dial the "new phone call" window opens (instead of directly dialing) and call can not be made
registry key is ok
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\IM Providers]
"DefaultIMApp"="Cisco Jabber"

Somehow got it working
cleaned temp files and registy
and it started working
wish i knew what the problem was for future refrence.

I just had this same issue during a deployment. The fix was to go into the Phone and Modem settings on the workstation and change the 'Dial Using' parameter from Tone to Pulse. Once I changed this click to dial began working. Verified on multiple workstations.
Tested to see if it would still work if I changed the setting back to Tone, and it did, so my guess is that I just needed to make "a" change to the dialing properties in order for Outlook to start working.
