Are there any restrictions or specific requirements (dimensions, file size, format, etc.) when Jabber is pulling contact photos from the AD thumbnailPhoto attribute which might stop is pulling down a photo for a certain user? We have a scenario where Jabber for Windows is able to retrieve and display photos from thumbnailPhoto but users report for certain contacts the photo never appears, yet the AD user account definitely has data in the thumbnailPhoto attribute (their photo is displayed in Outlook for example). Thanks.

There is a requirement, it is here under "Contact Photo Formats and Dimensions"

Hi, thanks for your response. I have read that section previously but it does not suggest there are any restrictions or requirements which would stop Jabber retrieving a photo from AD for an individual user account, which is the scenario in question (e.g. maximum dimensions, maximum file size, etc.).
