Jabber deletes lines and moves Emojies

I have a strange issue.

When I am sending a message with multiple lines and an emoji at the end the last line is deleted and the emoji ist moved behind the first line.

This is what I sent:

jabber_chat_sent.png

This is the message that was placed in the chat:

jabber_chat_received.png

As you can see each emoji moved one line up and the last line was deleted .

I am using Jabber for Windows Version 12.9.4.55060 Build 305060

Some colleagues report the same issue.

Other users with a (much) older Jabber Version seem to have no problem.

I just tested and saw the same behavior, you would need to open a TAC to have this looked at and if necessary, create a bug for this behavior.

I did some more testing.

1. It seems the issue does not appear with 12.9.2 on my Windows notebook.

2. There seems to be a difference between writing emojis via special characters (like semicolon and bracket for a winking smiley) and selecting an emoji with the mouse from the emoji menu.

First I sent this:
jabber_chat_sent_brakets.png

Then this:
jabber_chat_sent_mouse.png

This was received:
jabber_chat_received_both.png

And here is another test with a UTF-8-Emoji:
jabber_chat_sent_all.png
jabber_chat_received_all.png

btw: I do not know why some emojis are bigger sometimes. But that might be another issue.

Just tried the new version 14.0.0.55563 Build 305563.

The issue still exists.

My colleague will open a TAC.
