jabber for iphone. registered client out of Office.

Jabber for iphone works very fine into my WLAN, but it's much helpful when the colleague are out of Office.
For example in hotel where the hotel offer the Wireless lan. Or when I use 3G network ( if I haven't an apn dedicated). Now it's possibile use the VPN into iphone, but it's more uneasy because VPN falls, when not traffic passes . What can I do? Expose the CUCM to internet( I don't believe) Have you a guide line for this situation ?

Hi

Are you using ASA and Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client for this deployment. If yes, eanbling Keepalives will not give this issue.

Thanks for your answer. But I don't use AnyConnect, and I think that battery of iPhone with VPN always on , consumes much.
