When doing the automatic provisioning of Jabber some users receive a "Can not communicate with server" error. I looked at the log files and Jabber is not able to access the UDS information for the user that is logging in.
In the error logs there is a permission error accessing
http://callmanagerip:8443/cucm-uds/user/userid
This issue occurs with random users.
What do I need to look for the call manager for that user to resolve this issue?
When we compare a broken user to a working users things *seem* to look the same.
Thanks

Figured this out. User didn't have the "Standard CCM End Users" Permissions assigned.

Though this was not your error, if connecting via MRA, if your NTP is not working on at least your VCS-E, you will receive this error, shown as an HTTP 502 error in the logs.
