We have installed Cisco IM & P ver 10.5
and jabber on windows ver 10.6.0
for jabber on PC, i can register with IM & P can control Ipphone
but cannot make a call from PC
i check log from jabber on windows that CTI not register
on CUCM CTI still not register, services are activated all
please help
and suggest solution

is the option greyed out?
if its not, and you select "use computer for calls".
does the CSF device register at all?

you want to use Jabber as a "softphone" or do you want to control a physical desk phone from Jabber?
for a softphone you need a CSF device, and it from Jabber (bottom::use computer for calls).
remember to associate the csf with the user as well, and associate the extension with the user.

i want to use Jabber as a Soft phone, i already to config CSF on cucm and associate with user
but when choose to use computer call, it cannot make a call

yes CSF already associate with user

i found that connot reslove DNS, problem from my DNS server
now CSF device is register with CUCM
