Jabber for Windows Ringtone

Hi,

I'm currently trying to find out where to change the ringtone for Cisco Jabber Windows?

I can hear ringtone Alert in My Plantronics Headset, but not in Cisco Jabber itself. I Have set the ringer to my default Windows Audio Speakers, but still no luck. I can hear a short beep in the beginning, but nothing more than that. I have Jabber 9.2.4 with Plantronics Jabber Plugin.

I just wonder how I can change that. I'm looking for a solution to hear incoming calls, when I'm not in front of my PC.

Any ideas?

Hi Christian,

if you setup same default Audio Speakers in Speaker combo box - do you hear demo sound or not?

I hear audio on the demo thing.

I have found out that it depends on my Relatek Sound device, also with Cisco IP Communicator I cannot use the Deivce if I point directly to the Sound Card, but I can use it if A select default windows sound device.

This is strange and odd, but I get it working with CIPC running in background and doing the ringtone for me now.

I will try another sound driver from relatek, maybe that helps.
