I've got a customer whom is interested in the Jabber Guest technology, they have a core of Cisco CUCM and a they have a call center with UCCX.
The customer uses Microsoft Lync 2013 for their main office users. Regarding the Jabber Guest technology and combining this with there call center is not the issue, but they have requested if Jabber Guest is also able to contact a user on the Lync environment when the video call is being routed through the Cisco core. It means that Jabber Guest is still connecting to CUCM, but is CUCM able to offer the call to the Lync user using a Lync interface.

Hi Danny, we haven't done any testing with Jabber Guest and Lync, so I don't know if this would work without code changes.

I know the expressway supports Lync when you have the correct licenses, I also Jabber guest uses the same solution you might think this should work. The customer is an international company with locations all over the world. Like I said they want to maintain Cisco in there core but will also use Lync as one of there primary clients. If this will work I defiantly think they will setup jabber guest......
If you could obtain any information about how and if.. The customer has both platforms in place. Lync currently is still based on office 365.
