I have a requirement to find via jabber contact objects in AD so my users can dial them. It seems like something thats doable in CUCM/Jabber, but it does not seem to work.
Can someone who has enabled this functionality please share how its done?

The default LDAP filters only searches for active users, you'd need to create a new LDAP filter to also sync, or search, depending on where you want to apply it, for users + contacts.

How is this implemented?
I have added in a new directory sync, modified service profile, tried modifying the jabber-config.xml file.
It seems its an LDAP query issue, but its not clear whats required to query contacts.
If you can provide configuration advice that would be great.
