Hi ,
CUCM = 11.5.1.13900-52
IMP = 11.5.1.13900-57
Expressways = 8.10.2
Jabber clients can login and chat as MRA on J4W and iPhone but just can't connect to softphone service. I've attached error report from iPhone and the debug messages show on Expressway C here repeatedly:

Jabber logs in and connects to softphone no problem internal network. I changed IMP to use Directory URI and restarted all the services.

Hi,
You probably forgot to configure a PTR in the DNS for the Expressway-E server.
If you are running on a single NIC deplyoment, you must configure a PTR zone with the Public IP address range, and then configure a PTR with the Public IP for Expressway-E (yeah, even if it is your internal DNS).
If you are running on a dual NIC deployment, you must configure a PTR for your expressway, but this time with the IP of the internal DMZ NIC of the Expressway-E.
It is a requirment from version 8.8 as a result of some defect (as much as I remember) and from now on it is required in all version 8.8 and above.
