Hello,
Is it possible to configure Jabber (for smartphones iphone/android) to only connect when on Wireless Lan, so it will not consume 3g/4g/LTE data plans?

On the iPhone, go to Settings > Cellular and scroll down to the apps and deselect Jabber. That will force only WiFi connectivity.
