Jabber (Outlook) Authentication Question

Hi Folks,

We are running CUCM/IM&P/Unity version 11.5 and would like to set up Unified Messaging for our Jabber clients.  We currently have a mix of Exchange on-premise accounts and Exchange online.  From our initial experiments, we have noticed that we need to create 2 separate XML files to cater for Exchange on-prem and online users, which is a bit of a pain.  Is there to determine which XML file is chosen based on a user's LDAP attribute?  ....so the initial username query will do a lookup and pick up the appropriate file and then allow them to log in to whichever Exchange platform they reside on?

No, if you do not use the default jabber-config.xml file that Jabber is hard-coded to look for, then custom files via the Cisco Support Field or the service profile (depending on your version) are statically assigned via either of those methods.
