Good day all,
Users on IM and Presence can collaborate locally on my LAN using Jabber. I need them to be able to still use the application over the internet. I have a public IP address I can use to achieve this. Kindly advice me on how to configure my router and open the necessary ports so that users can still logon to my CUPS server and collaborate outside my LAN
Thank you

That is not supported, you should probably look into using WebEx instead of CUPS so you can login anywhere, or deploy MRA

You can deploy Mobile Remote Access (MRA) using Expressway-C anmd Expressway-E to be able to login to jabber via internet or you can use it over the VPN.
