We have cucm 11.X and Jabber Iphone clients on 11.X If registering for the first time on the system, they fail. If we turn Wifi off on the Iphone, we can register via 3/4G via the MRA on VCS-Expressway without any issues.the issue seems to be with just the Iphones as we can do the same process with the Android and it connects no problem. Also Jabber for windows works fine. has anyoone had the same issue?

What troubleshooting have you done??
Have you looked at a PRT to see the connection attempt and try to get an idea of what is failing?

I have looked at the PRT and it states a TFTP error when looking for the users xml config file
but I have run packet traces on cucm and looked at tftp logs and I see them xfer. We have checked all along the network route and it is the same route as the other devices

OK, so you see request to find the user, you get the associated devices and then you try to download the device.cnf.xml file, you should see a 200 OK if it's found and a request number, then the data that was received.
This is from a J4W PRT as I don't have one right now for iOS

So, you're seeing the transfer from the TFTP server being sent to the device, but the device doesn't show it actually received any data?

So on the CUCM TFTP Log I ge tthe following which looks good and it sends the 200 ok.
however I don't see the 200 ok at the Iphone end on a Friewall capture.
