on-prem Jabber federated adhoc group chat with Lync/Skype

Hello,

I know federated 1 to 1 chat  with lync/skype is now supported with Direct SIP federation on expressway. Are there any plans to add support for federated adhoc group chat with Lync/Skype in the near future? and are there any third party solutions that could make adhoc federated group chat work?

Thanks Srini, yes my customer did sign up for nextplane service, however unfortunately after over a month of troubleshooting between nextplane, Cisco TAC and us partner we have come to conclusion that nextplane doesn't support federated group chat with on-prem Jabber. The issue is when the group chat is initiated nextplane doesn't send resource ID (full JID) in the invite and Cisco per RFC requires full JID.

Good to know then no ideas I have and haven’t seen on the roadmap either to do mixed group chat.
