Presence status different

I have a user A who sees user B as offline on both his Jabber windws client and iphone client. User A sees users C,D and E as available. so his status for other users is fine. users C,D and E, see correctly that user B is available. We have tried logging out and back in, but the status still shows offline.

I have logged into CUCM user page and selected user B as seen by user A and it gives the status as available. The IM&P is clustered on version 11 and all users are registered on one server. The CUCM sip trunk has run on all nodes.

has anyone come across this issue before?

please check if user B which is in use rA's contact list is having correct IM Address. if IM Address is not correct , then user B will always show offline to user A
