Program button on Cisco phones

Setting up the On-Demand live recording feature in CUC.  Instead of have to perform the action of Conference/Extenion/Conference.  What to program a button to perform that action, was told you can do this. How do you do this?

Nothing you can do natively, but it seems you can use the SDK to create your own softkey for that:

If you don't want to use the SDK, then you'll have to teach your users the steps to use live record.
