I've seen several posts about CPU usage by PTIM.exe, but I am having a different issue - page fault rates for PTIM.exe in the neighborhood of 5,000 / sec! Here is one snapshot from the Windows Task Manager:
Although these page faults do not seem to slow down a freshly-rebooted machine, the CPU kernel utilization gradually worsens throughout the day until after 24 or 48 hours, the machine has slowed to a crawl:
I am running Windows 7 Pro SP 1, 4 core, 8 GB memory, on a HP EliteBook laptop.
The WebEx Productivity Tools version is 2.82.6520.1083
Does anyone else have a similar experience?
