I am not even sure where to start with this....
I have a set of users who cannot see the Jabber photo of a newly added employee. The photo is stored as thumbnail.jpg and can be seen by the other subset of users in jabber and can be seen by everyone in other LDAP/ADFS locations (sharepoint/outlook/etc).
I have checked effective permissions of LDAP sync account and it can access the photo attribute.
I am using EDI for Contact Resolution in Jabber and all users are in the same UC Service Profile.
I'd like to make this an AD permissions thing, but since it is only in jabber that users cannot see the photo, my AD team kicked it back.
Any thoughts?

I should add that this particular user that cannot be seen by some, cannot see her own photo in view my profile.
Jabber version is 9.6

try deleting the folders under users/account/appdata/local/cisco/unified communications/jabber/csf/ photocache and contacts. before you do this exit jabber and open it after the delete again.
