I have the following situation:
(Existing CUCM IP Ver. 10.5 .20)<<(existing UCCX Ver. 11.6 with IP .23)
I upgraded CUCM from 10.5 to 15SU2 with a new IP .30 (on the same subnet). this CUCM is not in service yet (endpoints are still registered to the CUCM Ver. 10.5). both CUCM
now the dilemma is: which option is easier/faster/causes less outage? do I:
A) change the UCCX integration from the old CUCM to the new CUCM to be like below?:
(Existing CUCM IP Ver. 10.5 .20) (existing UCCX Ver. 11.6 with IP .23)>>(New CUCM Ver. 15 IP .30)
B) or is it a better option to just shutdown the existing CUCM Ver. 10.5 and change the IP of the new CUCM Ver. 15 to IP .20?
Note: I'll change phones to pre-8.0 integration to register on the new CUCM without having cert issues.
I'll upload CUCM 15 certs to the UCCX as tomcat-trust
UCCX 11.6 is compatible with CUCM 15
