I have a query related to Unity connection & UCCX with CUCM. right now my AA is running on Unity connection, so the call flow will be
PSTN Main Number ----VG ---- CUCM ---- Unity Connection (Welcome to ABC, if you know the extension dial now or press 0 for Operator) --- SCCP/SIP Phones.
we are planning small call center setup with 5 agents, the thing will be Master number remain same and small amendment in the announcement. so the announcement on Unity connection will be
Welcome to ABC, if you know the extension dial now, Press 5 for the ABC Funds inquiry or 0 for the operator.
the question here is while pressing 5 calls will be transferred to CTI point to UCCX for agent management and call delivery.
now the case is, is this the right design to do that? secondly, will there be any issue in number display, shall the number be kept and will be displayed to the agent.
as I mentioned it's not a big call center environment only 5 agents at start.
