Hi,
I would need a clarification on VCS call licensing.
The ordering information of the VCS and the VCS Expressway datasheets state:
- Cisco Video Communication Server Control - CTI-VCS-CONTROL-K9: Comes with: (...) 10 non-traversal calls (...)
- Cisco TelePresence Video Communication Server Expressway - CTI-VCS-EXPRESS-K9: Comes with: (...) 5 traversal calls (...)
However in the configorutaion tool it is required to add at least 10 non-traversal calls, and 5 traversal calls licenses, respectively.
What is the real situation: the basic amount of licenses are included, or should be added anyway?
Thx,
Tibor

That used to be the old way. Cisco used to provide 10/5. For the past few months the SKU price was reduced but the 10/5 included were taken out. So net effect is there is not a price change but flexibility for the customer since they can now pick and choose what they want as opposed to sticking with what comes with the bundle and adding on top of it.
Thanks
Srini

thanks for the quick response!
That is clear.
