WebEx Meeting Server and Network Connected TV

                   Hello everyone,

I am looking to see if it is possible to view the video from a WebEx meeting is viewable on a network connected TV with an Internet Browser.  I think ther are plug-ins involved but not sure.  I doubt the plug-ins would work on a regular HDTV.

Also, if the above is possible I'm  looking for a way to get a webcam in the mix and turn that smae TV into a conferencing device with 2 way audio/video.

Playing the hand I was dealt and this is all I have to work with at the moment.

Thanks in advance!  all replies rated.

Hello Scott,

I did test and as I tought it wont work on the first fly.

Abousily reason behind this is Java is not installed. The story could end here.

But, I have a feeling if you can "hack" into TV and install Java version or even better use some browser which will allow you to download a file and Run a temporary application you could end the story positivly.

I hope this helps a little and please follow back with us on this thread.

Kind regards,

Srdjan

Hello Scott,

Cool idea... first of all.

Currently we dont support Linux browsers , I will presume you are using some Linux browsers on that Network TV.

On another hand I ll do some test on this and come back to you in 48-72 hours.

Let me try my TV at home to see results.

Definetly this wouldnt be something which was tested.

Kind regards,

Srdjan

Hello Srdjan,

thanks for the response and an extra huge thanks for going the extra mile and trying this from home.  If even the 1 way video works than that would be huge for us.

Thanks!

Thanks for the effort Srdjan!  It is appreciated.  At least I know what to look out for as the TVs are being replaced.
