WebEx Productivity Tools to be replaced with new

I received an email from Cisco about the release of 33.2, slated for 6/28/2018, and it states:

This upgrade includes the following components:

• Cisco Webex Business Suite 33.2 desktop applications:
  • Cisco Webex Training
  • Cisco Webex Events
  • Cisco Webex Support
• New Cisco Webex Meetings desktop application 33.2 (with a persistent pre-meeting experience which replaces the functionality of Productivity Tools)
• Cisco Webex page 33.2
• Cisco Webex Meetings Web App 3.10
• Cisco Webex Meetings 11.0 (Android)
• Cisco Webex Meetings 11.0 (iOS)

This release requires you to upgrade your desktop application. 

Does this mean PT will be replaced with new Webex Meeting Center application?

Replaces is a strong word. The updated client application includes existing WPT features (eg Outlook plugin) but adds other functionality such as Proximity support. They rebranded it, in my opinion, to draw attention to the additional functionality.
