What type of certificate should be used for ADFS and ISO KMS Webex? (Tomcat, Apache, IIS...)

What is it that you’re looking to achieve? Your question isn’t very clear. Also what is ISO KMS Webex?

I am preparing a certificate update for an ADFS server and an HDS (oprem data security solution from webex), the certificate provider asks me what type of certificate I require (Tomcat, Apache, IIS)

Thera are two things here that could make a difference to the answer. #1 is it in the external systems, ie ADFS or HDS that you’re planning on making a change to the certificates or #2 is it in the Cisco UC systems? Depending on the answer to that the overall answer to your question will vary. If it’s a change of certificates in your UC systems and if you’re using ADFS as your IdP it would normally use the Tomcat certificate for the trust in ADFS with the UC systems, however it can as well use the ITLRecovery certificate. It depends on how you have chosen to setup SSO in your system landscape. For the Webex HDS I don’t know, I’ve never worked with that system, but likely there are documentation available for that system that should cover this. The two most common certificates used in a CM is the Tomcat and CallManager certificates, with the first being the most commonly used one.
