Security and Visibility with Webex Teams is now mandatory and a challenge for customers and end users.
Cloud access security broker (CASB) is an on-premises or a cloud-based software that sits between cloud service users and cloud applications. It monitors all activity and enforces security policies. A CASB can offer a variety of services, including, but not limited to monitoring user activity, warning administrators about potentially hazardous actions, enforcing security policy compliance, and automatically preventing malware.
Integration Webex Teams with CASB allows IT teams to protect data by monitoring spaces, applying data loss prevention (DLP) policies, and taking remediation actions if a violation occurs with sensitive data.
Cisco dCloud offers an interesting scenario to test this integration. Another layer of security is e-discovery that you can discover through this scenario, If a company requires details for legal proceedings, the compliance officer can access the Cisco Webex eDiscovery Search and Extraction tool from Cisco Webex Control Hub. These tools can generate reports that contain all of the conversations held in Cisco Webex spaces and any files shared within those spaces.
A compliance officer can search Cisco Webex for space, IDs, keywords, and any email address of a user in an organization.
