Sometimes, you want to populate the Self Service User ID and the Primary Extension + the Conference Now Meeting Number automatically with the IpPhone or Telephone Number LDAP Attribute used in the LDAP Directory configuration page when importing AD users from LDAP Server to Cisco CUCM, especially in large deployment where it's fastidious to do it manually.
You juste apply a mask in the LDAP Configuration page according to the dial plan of your directory numbers (for example DN must 5 digits, you use a mask XXXXX).
After synchronisation, the Self Service User ID, Primary Extension and the Conference Now Meeting Number get populated.
The Self Service User ID is mandatory when using the Self-Provisioning Registration and to join a Conference Now.
