Hi

We have CM 11.5 and jabber 12.6 some of our users are receiving incorrect user name or password login, we can confirm the credentials are correct, not all of them are facing the issue some of the users are able to login while others get the error message, we have cisco expressway c and in the alarms section i can see "Microsoft Exchange Autodiscover LDAP access denied" not sure if this is the cause, checked the call manager, imp server and see no errors, the issue effects both these outside and inside the network, I have attached jabber logs and the error msg on expressway c, appreciate you help, happy to provide any further information.

Hello Mohamed.

The error in the expressway, is related with exchange connector, and this is related to Webex exchange connector to use the @webex in meeting. This connection is made through your EXP-C, and your EXPW-C must connect with your exchange on prem servers.

Regard your problem:

Check all the CUCM (PUB, SUB) can reach the LDAP servers (FQDN), also check the user can login in the selfcare portal with their LDAP credentials.

You can check the CUCM DNS resolution from CLI with the command: Utils Network Host "FQDN".

Try to change one of the fail user Jabber device to an Device pool of a working Jabber user and test again.

The Expressway logs can give you hits of where the user authentication is pointed, and check further that server.

Regards.
