Ive created public posts using the web interface but when querying these posts with REST, I find <publicPost>false</publicPost>.
1) Why is this?
2) Where in the xml is the public permission actually specified if not here. The web client recognizes it as public but Im not certain how that is. I see no other place in the xml that appears to display that.

publicPost indicates whether this post is in an open community (true = in an open community, false = not in an open community).
