Hi

I have a C40 codec.

I make the audio changes with the TC Console, but when I remove the power supply to the codec then the codec lose all changes made with the TC Console.

I have another C40 codec and don't lose the changes made with the TC Console.

Regards

Ricardo.

Hi,

when pulling the power from the codec, there are no guarantees that changes are physically written to the internal flash drive. After doing such changes you should always boot the codec gracefully.

Hi,

What do you want to say with "boot the codec gracefully"?

Can I restart the codec with a "xcommand boot" command?

Regards

Ricardo.

Hi Ricardo,

Yes, you can. Gracefully means not to pull out the power plug or shutting down the codec using the power switch. Any other reboot will be fine.

Best regards
Roger

Hi,

That was the problem. Now all is OK.

Thanks.

Ricardo.
