Core Issue

When Cisco Unity is upgraded, rebuilt, or restored using the Cisco Unity Connection Disaster Recovery Tool (DiRT) utility and the called Directory Number (DN) is forwarded (through a No Answer, or Forward All), this issue occurs. In this case, Cisco Unity plays the opening greeting instead of the personal greeting of the called subscriber. There are no errors shown on the Cisco Unity Directory Walker (DbWalker) utility.

Resolution

In order to resolve this issue, perform these steps:

  1. Verify the system prompt settings on the Cisco Unity server, under \Commserver\Localize\Prompts\ENU\.

  2. Once verified, change the value of the prompts accordingly from the registry under HKLM\Software\Active Voice\SystemParameters\1.0\, where the DWORD value PromptSet=G 7xx (29 or 11).

  3.  Restart the Unity server.
