After ICM is installed, Aspect PIM does not come online, and the "SE_AcceptedConnection Server connection rejected" error message appears

Core Issue

On the Aspect Peripheral Interface Manager (PIM) window, the SE_AcceptedConnection Server connection rejected message appears if the hostname for the host interface is not set to the fully qualified domain name.

Resolution

In order to fix the issue, complete these steps:

1. Change the host interface field in the Intelligent Contact Management (ICM) setup Event Link window to the fully qualified domain name, because this is required in the setup of the Peripheral Gateway (PG) for the Event Link configuration.
   
   
2. Verify that the network interface card (NIC) bindings are correct.
   
   
3. Check for misspelled hostnames and Domain Name System (DNS) issues.
