Hello,
My name is Brad, I have created 10 layouts for my customer to use in and out of a VC for NE and FE presentation and collaboration. If I assign the layout to the NE (layout 6) which is a quadrant screen, i can populate all of the frames using the frame update xcommand. This proves to be successful for populating the FE quad layout (layout 1) accept for frame 2. I have scoured over the API in my logic and have found all the logic to be functionally identical. I have verified that the command is sound, and that the frame id is correct and that it wasn't under another frame because of an incorrect location or layer. I am befuddled. I know the command is accepted via SIMPL Debugger, as i get an "OK" each time i attempt to populate the frame. And even more wiered...i am using the "othermain" to fill the frame, which if only connected to one endpoint will autofill the remaining frames allocated to FE cams with the appropriate video no matter how many calls (max of 3) are connected. If i put "othermain" in all four frames, starting with frame 2, i get 4 blank boxes, telling me that there is video assigned to the frame, its just not there. If i assign a PC or video image to the frame, "othermain" automatically moves the FE to the next frame allocaterd to FE video. I just cant see the video in the frame. Can anyone help...

Hi Brad,

it would be very helpful if you post the commands for the layouts you're trying to assign. Also, if the codec is in fact doing something wrong, it would be helpful to know which software you're running.
