We'll be releasing a fix for this in TC Console alongside the TC4.1 release. The current workaround is to wipe the settings from the codec manually. In order to do this you need to temporarily enable root and delete the files created by TC Console.1) SSH/Telnet to the codec as admin and enable root:1systemtools rootsettings on
2) Wait a few seconds, then login as root with SSH/Telnet and wipe the settings:1
2[host:~]rm /armuser/videolayouts/osd_videolayoutconfig.xml /user/videolayouts/videolayouts.xml
3) SSH/Telnet to the codec as admin and disable root:1systemtools rootsettings off
Subject: RE: Cisco TC console app Replied by: Cameron Davidson on 30-03-2011 05:46:33 PMHi ViggoJust got a new Tandberg C60 out of the box and tried to connect the TC console and it refused again on this version -TANDBERG Codec Release TC4.0.4.245757.Is this going to happen on all versions of TC software, If i was on site down loading the video compositions i would be very anoyed.CameronSubject: RE: Cisco TC console app Replied by: Cameron Davidson on 31-03-2011 04:05:19 PMHiJust found the way around this you have to have the Network Service HTTPS turned OFF.Then you can connect. Also be careful if you do a configuration file on a C60 using the TC Console you can not use it on a C90 so all the layouts that you done for a C60 wont work on a C90.You can edit the XML file look at the part for <layouts> and copy all the way down to the bottom of the file and paste it over the the new file for that product.
