Hi all,
I'm trying to configure on CUCM 8.6 directories and services url for registered phones, filling Device --> Phone --> External Data Locations Information --> Directory and Services fields with custom urls for each device. I've noticed it works well only for 7960 phones, with 7961 and 7962 phones despite my configuration I find these urls in Settings --> Device configuration --> Http configuration on device:
Directory Url --> https://myApp-CUCM:8080/ccmcip/xmldirectory.jsp
Services Url --> https://myApp-CUCM:8080/ccmcip/getservicesmenu.jsp
What's the problem with these phones series?
Thank you in advance.
Regards
Gnav

Have you configured the public certificate portion of your web server's SSL certificate in your CUCM environment (and regenerated CTL if using security?) If not (or if unsure) set the secure URLs to blank in the Enterprise Parameters to validate the non-secure URLs (which is all that is supported on G1 phones like the 7960s) work correctly on the G2 and G3 phones and your web services. Then if that is the problem you can add the certificate on the OS side of CUCM (regenerate CTL if in use) and set the Secure URLs again.

I forgot you also will need to set Services Provisioning to Both to allow non-CUCM URLs.

Yes, setting Service Provisioning to both and secure url to blank also 7962s run well.
Leaving blank secure url what kind of problem can generate?
Thank you

Leaving the Secure URL blank will have the phone use HTTP (non-secure). If that is acceptable to your implementation, then you should be fine. Certain CUCM versions had a bug (CSCtr78976) that caused a blank Secure Directory URL to be repopulated to the defaults upon reboot.
