Created by: Koen Van Impe on 11-04-2013 06:28:00 AM We are currently designing a comprehensive deployment with UCCE & CVP 9.0. The client has a particular requirement for his "on call" service. He wants the caller to be transferred to a mobile number. But before the transfer is completed, a messages should be played to the callee with information about the caller. Transfer should only be completed when the callee acknowledges the call. I don't see how to achieve this with standard component in Call Studio. Anyone with fresh ideas? K

Check the park call element and you will be required to do some enhancement over this: http://developer.cisco.com/documents/10501/307609/Call+Parking+Custom+Element

It comes with all the usual support caveats for custom samples, so very much sold-as-seen. Let me know if you want to try it.

Subject: RE: New Message from Paul Tindall in Customer Voice Portal (CVP) - CVP - Al Replied by: Paul Tindall on 12-04-2013 04:53:28 AM Remember this is a bit experimental. Also, I do have multiple code branches with different enhancements that I do aim to merge at some point. For example, there is one that allows you to set SIP headers on the transfer. If there is something missing, there's a chance it may already exist in a different version so let me know. The element settings should be fairly self-explanatory but sorry, no additional user guide to publish on this one yet. Remember to add service cvp_tclxfer flash:cvp_tclxfer_2.tcl Enjoy.
Subject: RE: Consult Transfer Replied by: Koen Van Impe on 15-04-2013 06:20:26 AM Hemal, I had a brief look at the custom elements to park a call, and expected something similar would be needed. Paul, Good to hear that you already have something to get me started with. It actually sounds like it has all the features required. I will have a look at it later this week. And yes, I will brief our client about possible support issues before we take it into prod. Thanks! Regards, Koen
