I threw together a Bash script that will automate the PostgreSQL configuration as it relates to a CUP integration for external database IM compliance.
This script has been passed off to mainline development, with the hope of integrating it into the CUP product. For now you can access the script attached to this post. There is also a short (4 minute) recording of the script in action:
