Hi All,
If I change the CVP VXML server IP address, do I need to get new license file?
Normally we get VXML server license based on the System ID. Is system ID generated based on IP address of the server?
Thanks & regards,
Velan

Hi Velan,
Pre-CVP 8.0 the VXML Server license is not tied to the server IP. So if you change your server IP, you do not need to get a new license.
However, as of CVP 8.0, the license is tied to your server's IP address and so changing the server IP requires a new license.
Thanks

Velan,
If there is a change in SystemID of CVP VXMLServer from 4.0 till 7.0, you will need to rehost the license by requesting from Global Licensing Team or through TAC.
Regarding how the SystemID is generated, it should be answered by Cisco folks.
Thanks!
