Hi all,

I'm looking for informations to setup GPIO on C60/C90 codecs.
Which firmware, which possibilities ?
Thanks for future answer.
Regards

Hi Francois,

It is possible to set up GPIO  on C90/C60 as long as you are running software version TC3 or later using xAPI commands. You can take a look at these pages for guidelines using the APIs:

http://developer.tandberg.com/web/guest/howtos/cseries-api/

The easiest way to setup GPIO is using the TC-Console available from this page:

ttp://developer.tandberg.com/web/guest/tools/integrators/tc-console

Notice that TC Console requires software version TC4.

Cheers,

Jonas

Hi,

As Jonas says the best way is to use the TC console to configure the GPIO. Here is the specifications as well:

    * When used for outputs, the I/O port acts as a switch to GND and is rated for 200mA @ 12 VDC.
    * The GND connector is a common ground and is shared by all I/O ports.
    * A contact closure between the GND and a GPIO port pin is detected as a low input signal.
    * When used for voltage inputs, the GPIO port detects a low signal for voltages 0 - 1 VDC, and a high signal for voltages 2 - 12 VDC.
    * When used for outputs, the GPIO port acts as a switch to GND, and is rated for 500mA @ 48V DC.
    * The +12V pin provides +12 VDC, and is capable of sourcing up to 500mA
    * GPIO connector is a Euroblock/Standard Phoenix, 6 pins with 3.5mm pitch.

Hi Jonas and Eiwind,

Thanks for the informations.
I plan to built a black box which switchs a red or green lamp installed under the camera to indicate if the Codec is active or not and if the Mics are muted or not. It is usefull for system installed in confidential environnements (banks, minister,...) . With GPIO it is easy.

Best regards,

François
