Resolution

To change the language from U.S. English to anything else, install a new language using the boot helper. Perform a complete installation, including a reload of all the Cisco Unity Express installation files.

Refer to the Installing a Software Image Using Boot Helper section of Installing and Upgrading Cisco Unity Express Software.

Make sure to use the correct language pack. Find these packs on the Software Download page for Cisco Unity Express.

If there are voicemails on the system, do a backup of the data prior to reinstalling the software, and then restore it. These procedures are also covered in the Administrator Guide.
