Core Issue
The requirements follow:
- For the national call, add 00 for an incoming voice call of nine digits. An example is the calling number 616403333 on the IP phone.
For the French numbering plan, you need to see 00616403333 for automatic call back (without modifying the call back number) from the IP phone.
- For an international call, add 000 for an incoming voice call of 10,11,12,13,14 or 15 digits. An example is the calling number 3292551111 on the IP phone.
For the French numbering plan, you need to see 0003292551111 for automatic call back (without modifying the call back number) from the IP phone.
Resolution
The translation can be performed on the gateway through the use of two dial peers matching nine and 10 or more digits, respectively, and using different translations.
Alternatively, a single voice translation rule can be used. This translation rule follows:
voice translation-rule 1
rule 1 /\(^.........$\)/ /00\1/
rule 2 /\(^..........$\)/ /000\1/
rule 3 /\(^...........$\)/ /000\1/
rule 4 /\(^............$\)/ /000\1/
rule 5 /\(^.............$\)/ /000\1/
rule 6 /\(^..............$\)/ /000\1/
rule 7 /\(^...............$\)/ /000\1/
For further information on translation rules refer to Voice Translation Rules.
