I am using Cisco Unity version 5.0 Build 5.0(1) that stores voice mails in the users' Microsoft Exchange 2007 mailbox. When users log into their voice mailboxes and listen to voice mails first, they are then taken to start listening to e-mails. Is there a way to prevent Unity from reading e-mails? I have disabled the alerts for urgent e-mails, but I want to shutdown reading e-mails completely.
Create another Class of Service with TTS feature disabled.
If you are just getting the Read Receipts or NDRs messages on the Phone, than goto Unity Tools Depot > Administration Tools > Advanced Setting Tools > look under Conversation Title -> Exclude all receipts. change the value to 1.
